Condolences

Praise the Lord, Family! My Prayers are with You all, in the passing of Your Mom. God is able to Heal broken Hearts and bring comfort and peace, in the days ahead. Our Family had the pleasure of meeting Mother Downing, many years ago, when she visited San Antonio, Tx, with the Pendletons'. Mother Downing, at that time, toured the City, on her own, was very spry and had lots of energy, whereas, she could be hard to keep up with; and, yes, she loved her Hats. It's such a Blessing to have a Mother, especially, one who loves God and teaches her children, to love and fear the Lord. Be encouraged to trust God for your needs, He is just and able to carry you through each day. Blessings!

Although our friendship was short, I will never forget what a beautiful Godly woman Miss Annie was. I am so thankful and blessed to have had even a moment to know her but am sad that I didn't have more time to learn from her amazing example. Miss Annie always glorified God and showed his love. I miss our phone calls and visits. Thankful you are at peace and with our Heavenly Father. I love you.

To the family of Ms. Annie: My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I met Ms. Annie over seven years ago at Beth Yeshua International. From our first meeting we became friends, and shared many special times together. She truly was a woman after God's own heart. She always surrounded herself with Christian teachings and music. She loved the Word of God, and wanted everyone to know the God she knew. I greatly miss her, but am comforted in knowing I will one day see her again.

Mrs Annie was a coworker of mine. Beautiful and sweet woman of God. She always talked about her beautiful children and grandchildren. She gave me a pair of beautiful balcony drapes. A elegant woman in style and grace. Wonderful role model. My condolences and prayers to her family. Love You from Deborah Balthrop Ivey Wilkins United States Government Publishing Office

Mrs. Annie was such a beautiful woman who always had a smile on her face when I saw her at synagogue. She and I would share a hug and small conversation as often as we got to see each other. She would share words of wisdom with me from time to time, which I value to this day! She was an inspiration to us all and she will be sorely missed. My prayers for comfort and peace are with her family and friends. I hope you all feel as blessed as I do to have known such a wonderful woman!

Dear sweet Mrs. Annie was truly a woman who loved God. She knew His word and tried to walk it out in her life. She had great faith!! Whenever she was asked how she was doing, she would reply: "I am blessed and highly favored!" Even though she had some illnesses and suffered a serious fall in the last months of her life, she still believed in God's healing. Mrs. Annie would tell me that she "believed that the Lord heals, that she was healed, and that she was just waiting on the manifestation of her healing". She asked the Mispocha (her church family) to pray for the manifestation of God"s healing. I believe that she received her healing early on the morning of June 15. May your soul rest easy Mrs. Annie until we see each other again! Mary Sams

I met Miss Annie at BYI on a rainy Saturday morning. She sat at the pew behind me wrapped up in a warm coat and a shinning smile. I couldn't help but get up from my pew, walk to her and hug and kiss her. It was a weekly pleasure to sit by her side, or kneel by her feet, holding her hand and talking a bit before the message began. As the year unfolded so did Miss Annie's health. One Sabbath I found out she had moved too far to join us at the synagogue. Whenever we spoke on the phone her cheerful spirit came through and her praises to our Lord and Master never faltered. She was always missed but always present in our hearts and thoughts. She was an inspiration and a blessing. I look forward to the day she smiles at me again and I can look at those deep kind eyes and walk hand in hand in a land where only good exists. We miss her dearly.
